Helen Breil Paper Casting Projects

Helen Breil Texture Plates work beautifully for your paper arts projects. A paper casting technique using these plates produces your own custom multi-dimensional papers. Shown below are a few of Helen's paper projects offered as inspiration.

Watch our newsletter for the arrival of Helen's latest booklet with the simple and quick step-by-step instructions she has developed for her paper castings.

A bold coloured hot pink napkin was used as pulp to create the paper casting featured in this framed wall art piece. The paper casting features a new texture plate design that will be launched in September 2007. The smooth decorative paper offers a contrast to the texture of the casting.

This card also features a new September 2007 design. The card stock that you see in the middle section was used to create the pulp for the casting providing a perfect colour match. Buttons and ribbon add the finishing touches to this contemporary card design.

The Floral Canvas design is featured in this simple and effective gift card. Light blue tissue paper was used as the casting material. Pink artists blending chalks were used to highlight the raised section of the design.

The Bamboo Fence design provides an effective textured background to this small but vibrant Asian influenced decorative paper. This bathroom tissue casting was painted with copper acrylic paint.

This card features the Pot Pourri design paper casting made from cotton linters. Bright yellow, orange and pink blending chalks were applied (in that order) to bring out the detail and add a soft watercolour effect.

The Mosaic design featured in this very contemporary card is made from teal coloured card stock. Purple and pink blending chalks were applied to bring out the details and add an extra colour punch.

And lastly a contribution by Karen Deering using Helen's Floral Canvas plate. Thanks Karen!
