Products developed specifically for use with polymer clay
Kato Liquid Medium
Liquid Polyclay helps you do more with Kato
Polyclay. It works as an extender, softener, adhesive and finish coat. Now you
can do photo-transfers or complex grouting effects. Kato Clear Medium is thin
enough to even out easily and can be worked in multiple layers - building images
slowly as you add layers. Add paints, ink or dry pigments to make colorful
glazes that bake and bond to polyclay. Each 2oz bottle is shipped with a full color booklet with directions for using Liquid Polyclay to produce a multi
layer technique, instant transfers, tempera paint crackle, clear medium grout
and a photo transfer method. Cures at 275F. Alcohol clean up.

Notes on Kato PolyGlues... CA glue degrades when it is exposed to direct sunlight and humidity. To prolong the life of your glue, place the bottle in a glass or food-safe plastic jar. Drop the dessicant pack into the jar and seal the top. Eventually the dessicant pack will change from pink to blue. The color change indicates that the silica has absorbed all the moisture that it can. To dry the dessicant pack, simply microwave one minute at a time (total 2 minutes) to dry it out. The color will return to blue and is ready to use again. The fine tips can be cleaned immediately after use by dropping them into isopropyl alcohol or acetone (nail polish remover). Swirl the tip in the liquid and the glue will begin to dissolve. Make sure that the tips are completely dry before using them again.
