Canvas Fragments: A New Way to Frame Your Art
I’m excited to finally introduce you to Canvas Fragments—the newest CaBezel mold collection designed by me.
These are the largest and boldest CaBezels I’ve ever created—a series of 8 sculptural shapes designed to act as small canvases for your creativity.
Whether you’re working with polymer clay, paper clay, or even mixed media and collage, these molds are here to help you create pieces that are repeatable, yet always original.
Each mold includes both a bezel (frame) and a perfectly fitting cabochon (insert)—so you can make consistent components that still leave room for endless variation. That’s where the name comes from Cabochons and bezels!
They’re sculptural, intentional, and sized to make an impact—perfect for pendants, brooches, or any piece where your art deserves to be the centerpiece.
What makes this collection special is that it goes beyond clay. You can use tiny prints of your own artwork, snippets of collage, fabric scraps, or other creative materials to turn each piece into a wearable extension of your art practice. Think: your painting, in miniature, worn as jewelry instead of hanging on a wall.
To help you get started, I’ve also created a three-part video series showing how I use these molds with a Sizzix Big Shot, a rolling pin or an acrylic roller, and how I shape and clean up the finished pieces.
You can watch the videos here.
I hope you enjoy exploring this collection as much as I enjoyed creating it.
Easily Repeatable, Always Original.
