As you may have already guessed, the CaBezels got their name because one part of the mold creates the Cabochon and the other part of the mold creates the matching Bezel.
CaBezel!
What are the CaBezel Jewelry Molds?
They are tools for polymer clay jewelry makers like you.
The CaBezels help you create the perfect Cabochon and matching Bezel every time!
No more having to purchase the same old pre-made metal bezels that everyone else uses.
They are easy to use and you can get started with just your basic polymer clay supplies.
All you will need is some conditioned polymer clay, an acrylic roller, a scalpel, a few patty papers and a release agent like water.
Of course they’re not just for jewelry. Make buttons, purse accessories, home decor, journal covers, fridge magnets, shall pins…..get the idea? The possibilities are endless!

A Real Time Saver
Create several bezels first. When you lift up the mold, leave them exactly as they are and cut around the outer edge or add some texture to the area surrounding them before you cut them out (this creates a flange).
Use solid black clay, bright colours or even use your scrap clay. Cover the scrap by applying mica powders or pastes to make them look like metal bezels.
For the cabochons anything will do. Use your favourite faux gem technique, Mokume Gane, tinted translucents, solid clay or use your favourite cane or veneer. Place the cab in the already baked bezel, adjust slightly for the perfect fit and bake them together.
The CaBezel molds are a great way to make several similar items for that swap at your next polymer clay gathering.

FAQ’s
What are they made of? Photopolymer
What if I need to clean them? When necessary use mild soapy water. Don’t use ammonia or other chemicals.
Can they be used with Metal clay? Yes
Can they be used with Paper Clay? Yes
How should I store my new CaBezels? Photopolymer prefers to be kept out of bright light when not in use. No direct sunlight either please.
Can they be used with resin? Unfortunately no. The resin will stick and never come off. However, once you’ve created a cab and bezel from polymer clay and oven cured them you, could then create a mold from them using a product that works well with resin like this one. Who said you couldn’t have your cake and eat it too?
Can they be put in the oven with the polymer clay? No. There is no need to anyway
Are they food safe? No
